Hello Everyone, im KDT and today we are gonna be discussing about the next gen console which has been officialy announced by Sony which is none other than PlayStation 5.

After more than a year of rumors about the PlayStation 5, Sony has finally laid out the price, release date, PS5 Overview and some of the games we can expect to play at launch.

TWO VARIANTS OF PS5

Sony is actually selling two different variants of the next gen PS5 consoles.

The console is powered by a custom eight-core AMD Zen 2 CPU and a custom AMD Radeon RDNA 2-based GPU that will provide 10.28 teraflops of raw graphical power. The PS5 also uses variable frequencies on both the PS5’s CPU and GPU, which could theoretically push the graphics to run slightly faster than normal when the CPU isn’t running at peak.

Rather than having the old HDD, Sony’s PlayStation 5 comes with a game changing SSD. It’s a lot times faster than the older HDD and huge games can be played without any lag. It has 825 GB of Storage and 5.5GB/s of throughput.

As you can see the comparison of the both variants announced by Sony. The one on the left is the Normal Edition and the one on the right is the Digital Edition which comes with no physical CD Drive.

DUAL SENSE CONTROLLER

PS5 Controller

The PS5 will come with a new gamepad, one that Sony is dubbing the DualSense PS5 controller, not the DualShock 5, like you’d expect. Also a departure is the black-and-white color scheme that is bold – and likely to be divisive. That’s the confirmed design in the picture above, and it’s closely mirrored by the PS5 console design, as you’ve already seen
Traditional rumble has been replaced with Haptic feedback, which should give you different levels of feedback depending on what’s happening in your game. The controller also has “adaptive triggers” that can simulate different resistances, which could be used to do things like add tension when you’re pulling back a bow or swinging around.
